Short History: Born in the sound, seen as a prodigy, her whole family was slaughtered by Orochimaru because of that, she somehow got away, since then has been from village to village learning learning everything she can about many forms of jutsu to one day kill Orochimaru, and she eventually found Konoha when she was 13/14 and has lived their ever since
Kekki Genki: Doesn't really have a name but the Ehrlich family has a curse similar to the hosts of the tailed beasts except on a lower scale. Tovah's grandmother fought with many animal leaders who sought humanity by going to war and killing without mercy. After their defeat her grandmother sealed their soul in the blood and ink that make up the tattoos given to children when they are about 4/5. The children choose the tatoo unknowing of whats happening until it is done. The animal spirit is sealed in their body but, if chakra is forced through the tttoo then the host will gain the power of the animal. She has the panther.
Panther's powers: Heightened senses, able to see in the dark, and in that form light wounds are instantly healed. The only problem is that sometimes the spirit takes over and with the panther it is merciless, relentless, and kind of a loud mouth, which is what got Tovah chased out of most of her previous villages. Other than that she has sort of a ventriloquist jutsu to where she uses chakra to project her voice up to a mile away. She can also use her chakra to manipulate the sound of her voice so what she is
Personalty: Sweet, gentle, kind, warm hearted, great listener, protective, shy when first met, affectionate to those close to her (hugs her friends), doesn't judge, puts others well being before her own, tomboyish, and life affirming (She doesn't like to kill but will when necessary)
Flashback~~
A little girl around 7 or 8 walked around Suna, a small frown on her cute lips. She was filled with saddness and anger. She had just been kicked out of the mist village for her actions. Chakra had been released into her tattoo which caused her to kill two ninjas.
She felt hated unwanted, depressed.The little girl walked down the street to see some kids playing ball, they were laughing. No they were happy. A spring of jealousy was released into her heart, she looked away, not wanted to think about anything that would make her sad.
The girl came to a stop staring at a boy, his expression was so much like hers. Sad lonely. He had bright blood red hair and beautiful seafom green eyes, that for the moment reminded the girl of a panda. She watched as the boy was standing far away from the playing kids.
The other kids ball landed on the roof, high out of their reach. They all got sad expressions on their faces. A smile graced my lips as I watched sad erupt to the roof and bring the ball down into the red heads hands. He stepped cautiously closer to the kids holding the ball out for them. They however backed away in fear.
"Here," said the red head, the little girl smiled he seemed nice.
"Go away monster!" the kids screamed running away. The little girls eyes widened, she had been called monster many times before.It brought a pang of saddness to the girls expression.
The red haired boys head dropped to the ground, so did the ball it started rolling away. The little girls light blue eyes followed after the ball. Stepping closer to it. She picked it up.The red hair boys seam fom eyes snapped up to see the girl, she looked unfamilar, she would hate him too, he just knew it.
His eyes casted down again, he turned away to walk in the other direction. A melody like voice called out to him. He froze.
"Here, is this yours?" the little girl said walking closer to the boy, he clutched his teddy bear in his right arm as he turned around to face the girl.
"Do you want to play?" she shyly asked.
His eyes were wide now, no one had ever really spoken to him so nicly before. He had never had someone want to talk to him so he didn't know what to say. He mearly stared at the little girl amazed that she wasn't running away.
"Hello, I am Tovah Ehrlich," the little girl said, still a little shy but kindly.
Finally reazing she had most likely never heard of him he braced himself for the screaming,"Sabaku no Gaara."
He waited for the screaming, but it never came, he opened his closed eyes to see Tovah giving him an understanding look.
"Gaara," she said kindly."You are going to be my new friend."
“Why aren’t you afraid of me? Don’t you know who I am?” he questioned.
She giggled, “Of course I know who you are! You’re Sabaku no Gaara, my new friend! Why would I be afraid?”
“Because I’m a monster. I’ve killed so many people.”
“Were they trying to hurt you?”
“Yeah. They were assassins.”
“Then they deserved to die. C’mon! Let’s play!”
“Ok.” For the rest of the day, Gaara and Tovah played kickball and catch. Soon dusk came and Gaara had to go home.She smiled kindly atGaara.
"I will seeyou tomarrow, after sunset." she said, then she kissed his cheek, and ran off. He felt an electric spark were her lips were. A blush coming to his face, soon a small smile came to his lips as he turned to walk home.Tovah sat on a tree branchenjoying the sky as she had slowly fell asleep. She knewshecouldn't stay in this village, but she could at least have fun with her new friend while she can.
End Of Flashback~~
The now 16 year old Tovah sighed at the memory. She was devatated,looking at the now dead Gaara. She had come with Naruto and the others to bring Gaara theKazakage back, from theAkatsuki. Now she was looking at his dead body. Elder Chiyo, stepped up closer to Gaara.
More tears managed to escape Tovah's eyes. She wasn't able to listen to the talking, but shesee Chiyo put her hands over Gaara's heart, chakracame from her hands as they glowed.
"I don't have enough chakra,"elder Chiyo said panting.
"Use mine," Tovah and Naruto said at the same time.
Tovah was seriouslywounded and was panting. Shewas still suffering from Sasori's posian, she didn't tell anyone she was hit by it and she was strong enough to pretend like she didn't feel any pain.Tovah and Naruto put their hands overelder Chiyo's making the chakra widen.
A smallgrin came to her face as Gaara started to open his eyes. She ignored the pain and embraced him smiling softly, tears goingdown her face from joy andpain. The poisan was spreading.Gaara looked around confused before staring down at the girl embracing him.
He recognized her almost amedently andwrapped his arms hesitantly around her small waist.
"Gaara..I am so..glad you are alright," Tovah gaspedout feeling her concousness slipping.
"Tovah, are you alright, what's wrong," Gaara said and his eyeswidened at the gash in her stomach that shewas trying to hide.
"I will be fine, it will be alright," she said softly before everything went black.Her head hurt and her muscles were sore, shecouldn't open her eyes.Her body felt numb.
She breathed in and forced her eyes open, only to close them agin at the brightness of white.
She felt something holding her hand she carefully opened her blue eyes again, slowly. Blinking until her vision cleared. She looked around, she was in a hospital room.She sighed then looked at her hand to see another hand holding it.
She looked up to see Gaara, his head was downcast, he was sleeping.Tovah smiled, he no longer had the demon in him so he couldsleep, he wouldn't be hated anymore. She then flushed remembering he was holding her hand.She sat up, much to her bodies discomfort as a seethingpain passed through her stomach.She looked at Gaara, he was sleeping peacefully. She had fallen in love with him the moment she saw him so many years ago. She brushed he fingers over hispale face.
Her other hand still being held by him. She sighed and brought her face closer to his. Their lips centimeters apart. Shewanted so badly to kiss his lips. He was asleep, he would neverknow. She sighed and started to pull back only before she could get any farther lipscrashed onto hers.
Pulling her into a soft butpassionate kiss.Electric sparks passed between them as his arms wrapped around her waist carefullyas to not hurt her, but still firm. The heat between them passionate. She didn't kiss back, she was to shocked. Gaara pulled away, a regected look on his face. He stood up.
"Gaara-"
"I'm sorry, I have to go, I am glad you are ok," he said and before she could say another word he was out of the room, leaving her confused.
She didn't evenget a real chance to kiss back.She sighed wishing she couldfollow him but she was still to wounded.
2 Days Later~~~
She sighed walking to Gaara's office, she had just been aloud to get out of the hospital, Gaara hadn't come back after the kiss. She hesitantly knocked on his door.
"Come in," Gaara said from behind the door. She breathed in and opened the door. Gaara took one glance at her, then looked down.
"Gaara?" Tovah asked walking closer to Gaara. He was staring out the window not meeting her gaze.
"Are you doing well, you shouldn't be walking," Gaara said, not meeting her gaze.
"I am a fast healer," she said and an awkard silence passed between them.
"I'm sorry," he said after a while.
"For what?" Tovah asked him, he was facing her buthis eyes wouldn't meet hers.
"Kissing you," he said."I shouldn't have-"
Tovah moved closer to him cutting him off with a passionate kiss. His eyes widened before closing, hekissed back, wrapping his arms around her waisttightly. Her hands cupped his face, deepening the kiss.
